You have questions on group headshots. Here are some of our most common questions and answers.
How long does it take for group headshots?
I typically spend a different amount of time photographing groups of different sizes. For larger groups with 25 or more people, I usually spend around 5 minutes on each individual to achieve the best results. However, for smaller groups, I take more time to focus on specific individuals and capture the perfect shot.
For group headshots, do you still offer facial expression coaching?
My skill is making someone look photogenic within 2-3 minutes, which gives me a competitive edge.
How many images do I get?
Usually, clients hire me to take one or two headshots per person. Each individual receives their own gallery with all the images, and if they desire additional pictures, they can purchase them separately. Detailed instructions are included with each gallery.
How many outfits for groups of 5 or more?
When making a reservation for a group of five or more people, we request that each person wears only one outfit. This is to ensure fairness and consistency. If there are any specific requirements, such as a particular color or company shirt, we will communicate this to the group in advance so that everyone is aware of what is expected of them. Please note that individuals who attempt to wear multiple outfits will not be permitted unless otherwise allowed or if time permits.
Will you take multiple angles or different crops of pictures?
When dealing with groups of more than 10 or 15 people, it can be challenging to capture images from multiple angles. The decision on the angle of the pictures is typically left to the client, as large groups often prefer a consistent look. If time permits, I may try to take some additional shots from different angles for individual members, but these would not be used in the overall branding images.
How will images be dlivered?
I have two different delivery systems that I use for my photography services. One of them is specialized for headshots and requires the individual's email or phone number in order to deliver the images. The other system is used for event photography, and it utilizes AI technology to recognize individuals and send the images directly to them via email or text message.
